There have been rumors flying around that a Wii price drop is imminent and now there are possible ads to back up the rumors.
Many people believe that the Wii is due for a price drop and it looks like it might be coming true very soon. Amidst price drops for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, logic would dictate that Nintendo would follow suit with the Wii. Kotaku has posted a rumored ad from an upcoming Target ad that shows the Nintendo selling for $199.99. That would be a $50 price cut from its current price. The Wii has been riding high since its release but sales have been slowing up. I think this would be a smart move for Nintendo. We will see if the rumors come true but if the past is any indication, when this many rumors are flying around, the story is probably true.
If the ad is correct, the rumored Nintendo Wii price cut may come as soon as the week of September 27th.
