Sony and developer Eat Sleep Play revealed the release date for the upcoming Twisted Metal game and they were nice enough to put it at the end of a brand new trailer.
The new Twisted Metal was nice surprise at Sony’s E3 press conference last year. Since then we haven’t seen too much of the game, but we now get a brand new trailer that shows a ton of new gameplay. The trailer unsurprisingly shows a ton of destruction, but ends it with a nice surprise, an official release date. October 4th is the magical date when we will get to take control of Sweet Tooth and the whole cast of over-the-top characters. Back in the day, I spent countless hours causing mayhem in the Twisted Metal worlds and I’m looking forward to see what crazy stuff David Jaffe and crew came up with.
Twisted Metal is going to be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 on October 4th. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.
