Sony and Eat Sleep Play have dealt some bad news to fans eagerly awaiting the new Twisted Metal game for PS3 by announcing a delay in the upcoming release date.
Fans were ecstatic when the new Twisted Metal game for PS3 was announced at last year’s E3. That excitement was growing as its October release date was coming closer. Unfortunately fans are going to have to wait quite a bit longer now.
David Jaffe announced on the official PlayStation blog that they needed more time to polish the game and get it to where gamers will expect it to be. That means pushing the game out several weeks, but because of the ungodly amount of huge releases this holiday season, the release date is being pushed even farther out to early 2012. While that is good news that Jaffe and his team want to spend the time to make sure the game is as great as we hope it will be, it does mean we have to wait quite a bit longer to get our hands on it.
Twisted Metal is going to be released sometime in early 2012 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
