One of Rock Band 3's most anticipated additions is the new keyboard and now it gets it very own trailer.
We have a little over two months before Rock Band 3 is released and people are instantly turned into professional musicians overnight. That is the goal anyway behind Harmonix's decision to push the rhythm genre closer to using actual instruments. In addition to the guitar, drums, and a microphone, Harmonix has added the all new keyboard and included some pretty cool songs to take advantage of it. The all new trailer shows that the keyboard is not going to be a walk in the park though. We will have to wait and see if their decision to go the realistic route pays off or not.
Rock Band 3 is going to be released on October 26th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the DS. Check out the keyboard trailer after the jump.Read more...
Treyarch and Activision have released the first multiplayer teaser trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Many people thought of Treyarch as the little brother to Infinity Ward but they are looking to get out of their big brother's shadow with the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops. People were blown away when they debuted the game back in April and now we get our first multiplayer teaser trailer.
In the new CoD: Black Ops trailer on GameTrailers, we get to see some of the new cool tools we will get to play with. The first being the mini-map has been replaced with a camera feed. The customizable reticule shines with a cool little smiley face as the player takes an enemy out from behind. Some of the game's new killstreak rewards are highlighted as well as the new explosive crossbow. GT's awesome Pop-Block does a great job of pointing out all the little details you probably would have missed and is definitely worth a look.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be released on November 9th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and the Nintendo Wii. Check out the multiplayer teaser trailer after the jump.Read more...
Codemasters debuted the first teaser trailer for DiRT 3 during ESPN's X-Games this weekend.
DiRT 3 was officially announced back in March and we haven't heard much about it since then. Codemasters announced last week they would be debuting the first teaser trailer during ESPN's X-Games over the weekend and sure enough we got our first taste from the game. Unfortunately it is all CG but very beautiful all the same. The DiRT 3 teaser trailer gives us glimpses at what to expect from the game which will feature rain, snow, classic cars, as well as new locations. It will also feature a type of motorsport called gymkhana that you will get a glimpse of right at the end of the trailer when the driver slides under an exploding truck. I'm undecided if this is going to be a good addition to the franchise or not but it looks pretty cool in the teaser. We will just have to wait and see when they release some actual in-game footage.
DiRT 3 is going to be released sometime in 2011. No platforms have been announced yet but I'm sure we can expect it to hit all the major ones next year. Check out the first teaser trailer after the break.Read more...

Treyarch has released some new screenshots from the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops game.
Treyarch recently announced that they are a 100% Call of Duty studio. This is after the announcement of their Call of Duty game was overshadowed by the fallout between Infinity Ward and Activision. Since then we've gotten an awesome debut trailer and now they've released some cool looking screenshots. The different settings from the game show up in the new screens including Vietnam and the Arctic. The visuals look amazing and the debut trailer proves it will bring the action. If it plays as good as it looks this is shaping up to be a fine addition to the Call of Duty franchise.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the PC on November 9th. Check out the new screenshots in our Call of Duty: Black Ops gallery.

The first official debut trailer has been released for Call of Duty: Black Ops and it looks like an awesome action packed ride.
The announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops was kind of lost in all of the news between Activision and Infinity Ward. The newest installment in the Call of Duty franchise will be developed by Treyarch, the studio behind the pretty decent Call of Duty: World at War. A teaser trailer was released along with the announcement but we didn't get to see much. The new trailer gives us more insight into the game's story and packs a lot of action. The setting for the new game has been rumored for awhile with many people guessing Vietnam. It looks like the rumors were true but it is only one of the many places we will get to travel to as seen in the trailer. It's an awesome looking trailer and I'm excited to see more from the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is going to be released on November 9th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Wii, and the DS. Check out the debut trailer after the break.Read more...

With just under a month before its release, Nintendo shows off the cloud suit in a brand new Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 features several new items in the highly anticipated sequel. One of these new items is the Cloud Suit. It gives Mario the ability to create platforms from which he can then use to access out of reach places. It can also be used, as demonstrated in the video, to float on the newly formed platforms in a gust of wind. In addition to the new cloud suit, we get to see Mario using what looks to be a turtle shell that works as an underwater propeller. The new 'Cosmic Guide' also makes an appearance in the new trailer. This will work much like the 'Super Guide' that made was added into the hugely successful New Super Mario Bros. Wii game.

Ubisoft's upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier receives a live action trailer that gives us a few details about the game.
Very little is known about the recently announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The game was announced with a teaser trailer a couple of months ago and not much info has been released since. Ubisoft has now released a live action trailer that gives us some small details about the game. We know that we will be fighting Russia ultranationalists that have violently seized power. In addition to the cool looking cloaking device that was revealed in the debut teaser trailer, the new trailer shows off a drone that you can control and has a mean looking machine gun attached. The coolest thing shown in the trailer though is the awesome looking shoulder mounted rocket launcher. You can see the soldiers painting their target and unleashing a barrage of missiles on some tanks. Pretty cool trailer but I really hope we get to see some actual gameplay soon.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is going to be released later this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PSP, and the PC. Check out the live action trailer after the break.Read more...

It has been close to year since Nintendo announced Super Mario Galaxy 2 at last year's E3. We are now less than two months until the game's release each trailer we get looks better than the last one. In the latest trailer we are shown even more power-ups that will be available in the game. One of the new abilities to be revealed is one that turns Mario into a boulder so he can roll over enemies and smash into rocks for their hidden goodies. Another power-up turns Mario into a ghost. This allows him to float along with air current in a haunted house. Among the new ones we also get to see the regulars one from the first game including the fireball and bee power-ups.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is going to be released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii on May 23th. Check out the brand new trailer after the break.Read more...
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 has received a new trailer, this one based around Harry's third year at Hogwarts.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Trailer will obviously be based around Harry's first 4 years at Hogwarts. The new trailer like the previous one is centered on one of the books in the best selling series. This one shows off the events that took place during Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban where we are introduced to Sirius Black. All of the characters you know and love make an appearance in new trailer. Like previous trailers, this one looks like a lot of fun and shows that they have really captured the look and feel of the Harry Potter world. Traveller's Tales knows what they doing when it comes to these Lego games and I have no doubt this one will be just as fun as the others. Who doesn't get all excited when they hear that distinctive Harry Potter theme kick in?

Codemasters has announced that they are currently working on Colin McRae: DiRT 3, the follow up to one of last year's best racing games.
The announcement of DiRT 3 is basically a no-brainer. The last installments in the series have been huge hits for Codemasters and it is not surprising at all that they would be working on another one. Codemasters' Vice-President announced the newest game in the latest issue of Edge Online that will be released next week. He goes on to state that the culture they've built at their Birmingham studio is to encourage innovation and that we can expect to see a lot of great stuff in the new game. Other than knowing that the game is under development, nothing else is known about the latest addition to the franchise.
No release date or platforms have been announced yet for Colin McRae: DiRT 3 but I'm sure we can expect to see it on all major platforms like previous games.
