The first in-game screenshots from Batman: Arkham City have surfaced and they are stunning.
Batman: Arkham City, the sure to be Game of the Year contender for 2011, was revealed recently in the September issue of Game Informer magazine. Now we get to see our first glimpse of in-game footage thanks to a NeoGaf post who pulled the images from a Flickr account. The images have not been confirmed as real by Rocksteady yet, but they look pretty convincing.
The unconfirmed first images from Batman: Arkham City give us a lot in-game shots that show an incredible amount of detail. We get to see shots of Catwoman, Two-Face, and the new and improved Harley Quinn. They also show off some new combat moves that look awesome and the updated detective mode is also included. The screens are bitter sweet because they look amazing but at the same it only makes Arkham City's release seem that much farther away.
Batman: Arkham City doesn't have an official release date other than Q3 2011 but we do know it will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC. Check out the amazing screenshots in our Batman: Arkham City gallery.

One of Rock Band 3's most anticipated additions is the new keyboard and now it gets it very own trailer.
We have a little over two months before Rock Band 3 is released and people are instantly turned into professional musicians overnight. That is the goal anyway behind Harmonix's decision to push the rhythm genre closer to using actual instruments. In addition to the guitar, drums, and a microphone, Harmonix has added the all new keyboard and included some pretty cool songs to take advantage of it. The all new trailer shows that the keyboard is not going to be a walk in the park though. We will have to wait and see if their decision to go the realistic route pays off or not.

Valve has released the first look at co-op play for the upcoming Portal 2 and announced when we will get our hands on it.
Portal 2 looks to build upon the amazing reception the original game enjoyed. Lucky for us, Valve isn't looking to just throw a few new puzzles and slap a number 2 on the box. They are looking to bring a whole new experience with brand new puzzles, weapons, and characters. The big addition that Valve has promised is co-op play. This will not be just a re-hash of the single player game that you run through with a friend, the co-op game is going to be a whole new story and levels. You and a buddy take control of two robots that GLaDOS is trying to make more human in order to pass a test that is needed. The new co-op play was shown on the recent episode of GTTV and looks like a lot of fun. The video is pretty short unfortunately, but it really shows off what kind of puzzles we can probably expect.
Portal 2 is going to be released on February 9th, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and the Mac. Check out the first look at Portal 2's co-op action after the break.Read more...

In the new gameplay trailer we get to see Isaac Clarke flying through space as he dodges to avoid space debris or go right through the middle of it. The transformation between walking and flying through space is fluid and looks amazing. The trailer was cut from a larger demo of Dead Space 2 from Visceral Games in Germany. A longer lower quality cam version was also released and definitely worth a watch. January cannot come soon enough unfortunately.

Rocksteady Studios has officially revealed the name for Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 in the latest issue of Game Informer.
Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 has got to be one of the most highly anticipated sequels in development and now we get the official name and some details. In the latest issue of Game Informer magazine, it is revealed the sequel's official name is Batman: Arkham City. It will obviously take place in Arkham City that is a walled-in area around Arkham Asylum to keep the baddies contain. We now know the game will officially feature Catwoman as featured on the new GI cover. We also know, thanks to the voice actors spilling it, it will feature Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, Talia al Ghul, Riddler, and of course Joker. Lastly we know that the overly abused detective mode will return but it will be revamped so it is more like augmented reality and will hopefully keep people from leaving it on the whole time. We unfortunately have a long wait until its release, but if it is anything like the first game, it will absolutely be worth the wait.
No release date for Batman: Arkham City has been given yet other than Autumn 2011 but we do know it is going to be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC.
