Rumored Nintendo DS 2 May Include Motion ControlsMore rumors surface surrounding the big announcement from Nintendo that could come as soon as the upcoming Game Developer's Conference. The rumors are again pointing to a possible Nintendo DS 2 announcement.

Many rumors that point towards a big Nintendo announcement at the next GDC have come back to and lend more credibility to a possible Nintendo DS 2 reveal. CVG via Gamekyo is again reporting sources that confirm the Nintendo DS 2 exists and that it has been handed out to multiple developers already. A developer that is rumored to have received the new hardware is The Pokémon Company. They are quoted as saying that "It's genuinely the best thing I think I've ever worked with". He goes on to say that it includes a tilt function that is much like the iPhone's but that it does a lot more. He unfortunately shoots down the theory that the new DS 2 will be announced at the upcoming GDC. The timeline he was rumored to have been given from Nintendo did not line up with a March announcement. Let's hope he was wrong and we get to hear about the new hardware soon.

New Nintendo DS To Be Announced At GDCMore rumors have surfaced that point towards a new hardware announcement from Nintendo that could possibly happen at the next GDC.

Earlier this month there were rumors floating around that Nintendo was poised to make a new hardware announcement. Many people believed this could possibly be the long hoped for Nintendo Wii HD but we are now seeing rumors that it will instead be a new version of the Nintendo DS. Nintendo Everything has posted a couple sources on their site that Nintendo DS 2 dev kits have actually gone out to developers and they expect to hear an announcement as soon as this year's GDC or possibly at E3. They also go on to say they believe that the new hardware could be released this year. This is all just rumors at this point so check back to see if or when we hear more from the always tight lipped Nintendo.

The DS has been around for quite a few years now so I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are working on the DS 2 or whatever it would be called. Nintendo has always dominated the handheld market so expect whatever they finally replace the DS with will fly off store shelves.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Announced With Debut Trailer

Future Soldier Announced With Debut TrailerUbisoft announced Ghost Recon: Future Soldier today. It will be the 4th installment in the best-selling Ghost Recon franchise.

Ghost Recon is looking to come back in a big way and take some of the spotlight away from Modern Warfare 2. Ghost Recon was the leader in future warfare before Call of Duty decided to leave WWII behind. From the look of the debut teaser trailer, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier looks to bring us even cooler toys to play with this time around. These are the same toys that soldiers will be using in the not too distant future including a personal cloaking device. Tom Clancy has always had his finger on the pulse on what weapons we can expect to see in upcoming battlefields and they always make their way into his games. Not much is known about the new game other than it will obviously feature both single player and multiplayer campaigns. An exclusive multiplayer beta invitation will be included in the upcoming Splinter Cell Conviction game in April.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, and the PC this Fall 2010. Check out the debut teaser trailer after the break.Read more...

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Announced

The Clone Wars AnnouncedLucasArts and Traveller's Tales announced the development of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars today.

The original LEGO Star Wars was released way back in 2005 and was a huge hit that spawned a sequel and several other games based on other movie franchises. LucasArts announced today that Traveller's Tales is working on a new installment in the franchise that I'm sure will be a big hit as well. The same team that worked on the original Star Wars games and the Indiana Jones franchise will be working on the new game. The 3rd game (4th overall) in the series will based on the animated series, The Clone Wars, and will include characters from both seasons. We can expect to play some new battle modes and an upgraded level builder in the new game. We will have the option to play as a Jedi or a Separatist with a bunch of new abilities.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, PC, and the PSP this Fall 2010.

New Nintendo Hardware Announcement At GDC?

Rumored Nintendo Hardware Announcement GDC 2010There have been numerous rumors floating around that Nintendo may possibly have a new hardware announcement at this year's GDC 2010.

Nintendo has been tight lipped about any new hardware announcements but many people believe it could possibly be the rumored Nintendo Wii HD. Nintendo has denied all rumors up to this point but now VideoGamer.com has a rumor on their site that quotes an unnamed developer. Their source apparently knows other developers that are already working on the new platform and that it might be announced at this year's Game Developers Conference.

We will definitely keep this one in our rumor pile until we get official confirmation but there have been too many rumors floating around to just dismiss it. No word on whether it could be a new handheld or home console. It would seem odd if it was a new handheld after the fairly recent announcement of the Nintendo DSi XL. We will keep our eye out for any new information but we might get an announcement as soon as early next month.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars iPhone Debut Trailer Released

Chinatown Wars iPhone Debut Trailer ReleasedRockstar Games has released the iPhone version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars along with a debut trailer.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars has previously been released on the Nintendo DS and most recently on the Sony PSP. Both versions were released to great overall reviews but the number of units sold was not so great. Rockstar Games is trying it again with their release on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The original release still holds the top spot on Metacritic for the all time highest overall review score for the Nintendo DS. It is second on the all time list for the PSP. You can't argue with those numbers or with Rockstar's history so it should be one to pick up.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is available now for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It will cost you $9.99 in the App store right now. Check out the debut trailer after the jump.Read more...

We should expect nothing less then another great game that will allow us to run around as Harry Potter. The debut trailer gives us glimpses at Harry and his friends running around Hogwarts and all of the characters you would expect to see. It's really cool to see all the different areas from the first 4 books in LEGO form. I'm sure that Traveller's Tales will bring their usual humor to the Potter world as they have with the other LEGO games.

No release date has been given yet for Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 but it will be released for the Nintendo DS, Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PSP, and the PC. Watch the debut trailer after the break.Read more...
