World Of Warcraft Expansion Cataclysm Announced With Trailer

Blizzard Entertainment has announced a new expansion for World of Warcraft titled Cataclysm.
At the recent BlizzCon 2009, the newest expansion to the WoW universe, Cataclysm, was revealed. The expansion will add 2 new playable races, the Goblins for the Horde faction and the Worgen for the Alliance faction. Cataclysm will also raise the level cap up to 85 and add 100s of new quests. A new secondary skill called Archaeology is being created. Blizzard will be adding a new guild leveling system as well as new monsters, dungeons, raids, and achievements.

World Of Warcraft Movie To Be Directed By Sam Raimi

Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures has announced that Sam Raimi will be directing the upcoming World of Warcraft movie.
Ain't It Cool News originally posted the news that Raimi will be directing the upcoming World of Warcraft film and then Blizzard confirmed the news with a press release. From the press release Sam Raimi says about doing the film "At its core, Warcraft is a fantastic, action-packed story, I am thrilled to work with such a dynamite production team to bring this project to the big screen."
For the two of you who don't know who Raimi is, he is the director of the hugely popular Spider-Man trilogy. He is also the mastermind behind the Evil Dead series of cult movies.
I for one am very excited about this news and I have high hopes for this film now. I can't wait to see if it makes it into that very elite club of video game movies that are actually good.
Dead Rising 2 Trailer

Capcom has released the first trailer for their upcoming sequel Dead Rising 2. The trailer shows that game will stay true to the original's feel which means it should be a great game.
The Dead Rising 2 trailer has the main character, Chuck Greene, slicing and dicing through a screenful of zombies. Chuck gives us a glimpse of some of the new zombie killin' tools that will be available this time around. We will get to use a Darth Maul style staff with chainsaws on both ends but the coolest addition spotted in the video is a motorcycle with chainsaws strapped to the handlebars. I can't wait for that.
Capcom also announced that Dead Rising 2 will feature a multiplayer component. There hasn't been any more information released on that.
Dead Rising 2 is going to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC sometime in early 2010. Check out the trailer after the break.Read more...
'The Hunter' gets a teaser trailer

Emote Games and Avalanche studios have released a teaser trailer for their upcoming MMO game, 'The Hunter'. 'The Hunter' looks to combine a hunting simulation with a free online social networking experience.
'The Hunter' boasts a 'visually stunning world' and 'highly realistic animals'. It will also feature the opportunity to interact with your fellow players and share your travels, as well as seeing how you stack up compared to everyone else. The game will also link to other social networking sites, like Facebook. The developers promise to keep new content like animals and hunting areas coming on a regular basis. They also want to hear from the community on what they want to see from the game.
The teaser trailer shows some awesome looking visuals with a realistic looking forest that looks amazing. Check out the trailer and new screenshots from the official site.
