God of War 3 Direct-Feed Gameplay Video

I'm sure most of you have seen the awesome God of War 3 gameplay video that was shown at Sony's E3 presentation. A new direct-feed version of that video is available now and it shows off a lot more of the game.
Hands down one of the best games shown at E3 this year was God of War 3. This highly anticipated game is set to be released in March 2010, which after you watch this video, will seem like forever.

Official Best Of E3 Awards Announced

The E3 2009 Game Critics Awards have been handed out and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was the big winner.
E3 was back in a big way this year. Many announcements were made and many games were shown, but only a select few walk away with an award. Some of the notable winners were: Modern Warfare 2 won Best Action Game, Mass Effect 2 won the Best Role Playing Game, and Left 4 Dead 2 won the Best Online Multiplayer award.
The biggest winner though was Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It came away with Best of Show, Best Console Game, and Best Action/Adventure Game. I think it goes without saying that Uncharted 2 is one of the most anticipated games of the year.
Lost Planet 2 Four Player Co-op Video

GameTrailers posted a video from E3 that shows off some awesome four player co-op footage of Lost Planet 2.
The video is a great interview they had with Sean Baxter, the Community Specialist at Capcom. In it, he reveals some nice details of what we can expect from Lost Planet 2's co-op mode. He states that Capcom is focusing on teamwork in the upcoming sequel.
Lost Planet 2 looks amazing and this video shows off more of the game's awesome visuals. Sometimes it is hard to distinguish the cut-scenes from the actual gameplay. It looks like the game is going to feature some epic gun battles and the video gives you just a small taste.
Lost Planet 2's release date is still to be determined but Sean Baxter said that we should be able to get our hands on the game this winter. Check out the great video after the break.Read more...
LEGO Harry Potter Announced

Traveler's Tales officially announced the often-rumored LEGO Harry Potter game this past week at E3.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 will include characters and locations from the first 4 books of the successful series. You will obviously be able to play as Harry, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger, but I'm sure that TT Games will be bringing the whole cast of characters.
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 looks to follow in the footsteps of previously released LEGO branded movie based games and give TT Games funny spin on the stories. Look for a release in 2010 for all major consoles and check out the teaser trailer after the break.Read more...
Just Cause 2 E3 Developer Walkthrough

GameTrailers has a developer walkthrough trailer with Just Cause 2 lead game designer, Peter Johansson.
Just Cause 2 looks to be coming along quite nicely and trailer gives you a good feel of the gameplay you can expect from the game. I was big fan of the original Just Cause and I can't wait to get my hands on the sequel. This game should be on everybody's radar this fall when it is released.
One of the many improvements to the game shown in the video is an improved parachute that gives you a lot more mobility than the original. My favorite improvement, which they show you quite a bit in the trailer, is the new and improved grappling hook. The new version now lets you hook onto any surface. It also lets you hook onto an enemy and pull him towards you or hook him to any other object which allows for some inventive ways to deal with enemies. The video also shows off some of the new moves you can use while jumping between and hanging off the side of vehicles.
Just Cause 2 is going to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC on September 30th. Check out the great trailer after the break.Read more...
Assassin's Creed 2 Gameplay Trailer Looks Amazing

Ubisoft showed off actual gameplay footage for Assassin's Creed 2 during Sony's E3 press conference and it did not disappoint.
Assassin's Creed is back with an all new locale and hero. The game takes place in Venice during the Renaissance. The new hero is called Ezio Auditore de Firenze, descendant of Desmond Miles from the first game.
The first footage shows off the improved graphics and also shows off some of Ezio's moves. You now have access to double blades and cool equipment made by Da Vinci himself. From the look of the video, it looks like Ubisoft has improved upon everything from the first game and Assassin's Creed 2 will almost most likely by another huge hit.
Ubisoft also gave us a release date for Assassin's Creed 2. It will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC on November 17th. Check out the awesome gameplay footage after the break.Read more...
Rockstar Announces Agent A PS3 Exclusive

Rockstar North announced today that they are developing an all new game called Agent exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
Not much is known about the game so far except that it's a brand new IP for Rockstar and that it's being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It is being developed by Rockstar North, the same guys that brings you the Grand Theft Auto games.
Sam Houser, the founder of Rockstar Games, says that Agent will be the "ultimate action game". Agent takes place during the height of the Cold War at the end of the '70s and will place players into the world of "counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations".
Super Mario Galaxy 2 Announced

Nintendo announced today at their E3 press conference that they are developing Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 looks a lot like the original game but they have added a lot of new content to the game. The biggest addition to the game is that it now includes Yoshi. Another big addition is a drill tool that allows you to drill through walls.

Crackdown 2 Announced

The newly formed Ruffian Studios didn't let us down by officially announcing the game they are working and it is in fact Crackdown 2.
It looks like the rumors were true and it wasn't just a bunch of fans hoping to get the sequel they wanted. Crackdown 2 was announced today at the Microsoft press conference and they showed a short teaser trailer.
The first Crackdown game was bundled with a Halo 3 and made many people question whether it should have sold as many copies as it did. I personally really enjoyed playing it and I can't wait for the sequel.
No release date was given for Crackdown 2 but it will be available for the Xbox 360 when it comes out. Check out the trailer after the break.Read more...
Left 4 Dead 2 Announced

Valve and Microsoft officially announced Left 4 Dead 2 at Microsoft's E3 press conference today.
Left 4 Dead 2 will follow four completely new survivors and will feature all new locations, monsters, and weapons. One of the biggest additions that you pick up from the video is that you can now use melee weapons to fight off the hordes of zombies. In the video you can see the players using a chainsaw, an axe, a baseball bat, and even a frying pan.
I think it's a little weird that they would be releasing this game so soon after the first one, especially since the original was so short in many people's eyes. Let's hope Valve brings enough new content to warrant a whole new purchase instead of releasing this as some DLC.
