With just under a month before its release, Nintendo shows off the cloud suit in a brand new Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 features several new items in the highly anticipated sequel. One of these new items is the Cloud Suit. It gives Mario the ability to create platforms from which he can then use to access out of reach places. It can also be used, as demonstrated in the video, to float on the newly formed platforms in a gust of wind. In addition to the new cloud suit, we get to see Mario using what looks to be a turtle shell that works as an underwater propeller. The new ‘Cosmic Guide’ also makes an appearance in the new trailer. This will work much like the ‘Super Guide’ that made was added into the hugely successful New Super Mario Bros. Wii game.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is going to be released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii on May 23rd. Check out the new trailer after the break.
