Sony has confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 will in fact be making its way to the PlayStation 3 this holiday season.
Gran Turismo 5 has been in development for so long that many people were starting to think it might never come out. With several years of work and many delays, Sony’s flagship racer is finally going to be released. Sony confirmed the highly anticipated racing sim will in fact make it across the finish line and its release date is right around the corner.
In a press release, Sony confirmed that Gran Turismo 5 will be coming out on Wednesday, November 24th. It will feature over 1,000 cars with 71 tracks. Not to mention being one of the most beautiful racing games ever. There have been multiple highly regarded racing games released since the last Gran Turismo game so we will have to see whether all of this development has hurt the franchise or will only cement it as the best racing franchise ever.
Gran Turismo 5 is going to be released on November 24th, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
