Klei Entertainment and EA have announced an official release date for Shank 2.
We now know that Klei’s 2D beat-’em up sequel is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC very soon. Building upon the success of the original game, Shank 2 is looking to fix the repetition criticisms the original by adding new enemies that can’t be all killed the same way. On top of that they are adding a new Survival Mode that will have you taking on hordes of enemies with a buddy either locally or online. You will also get all new weapons, characters, and moves including a new Counter move that will allow for slick timed kills adding a new level of skill to the franchise.
February 7th is the official Shank 2 launch date on PSN and PC for $9.99. The XBLA version will be released a day later on February 8th and will run you 800 MS Points.
