Gamers hoping to see the successor to the Sony PSP this year got some bad news when Sony announced the PS Vita release date is going to be delayed until 2012.
Sony’s next handheld, the PS Vita, was hopefully going to make it to the states before the big holiday season this year, but unfortunately the release date has been delayed until 2012. No official release date was ever given, but many people believed it would come later this year. The Japanese release date is still scheduled for the end of the year, but U.S. fans will now just get to sit and be jealous.
An official U.S. release date for the PlayStation Vita is rumored to happen at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show in September. Check back here to hear any official news when we do.
