Microsoft is still standing by their Christmas 2010 release window for Project Natal but another leak may have narrowed that window down a bit.
We originally reported on a UK based gaming biz site that had Project Natal’s release date set for November. Now there is a whole new leak that may have Project Natal coming out even sooner. Jonathan Ross, a British television personality, was given a recent demo of the new Xbox 360 add-on. Ross’ son even released a video that showed Ross trying out the ball demo we saw at last year’s E3. Many people that have watched the video are pointing out the noticeable lag between his actions and what happens on-screen. After the demo, Ross tweeted about his experience and let slip that Project Natal will be released this October. He also points out that it is “not quite there yet”. His full tweet was “OK. Before bed. Natal on X Box impressive. Not quite there yet i think but tye have til october and if they get it right…skys the limit.”
No confirmation from Microsoft on the leak so I guess we will just have to wait and see which leak is true.
