Nintendo officially unveiled the 3DS at E3 2010 and pretty much impressed people across the board.
The Nintendo 3DS was announced back in March just before it apparently was going to be leaked. Unfortunately at that point we only had a couple of specs to wonder about. Now Nintendo has officially unveiled the 3DS at E3 2010 to rave reviews. Besides the obvious 3D capabilities, the Nintendo 3DS will also feature backwards compatibility, new 360 degree analog thumb stick, a gyroscope, improved Wi-Fi, one inner camera, and two outer cameras. It was also feature a slider controller that will allow you to adjust the 3D for the best viewing.
Nintendo also came out with an impressive list of games that will be coming to the 3DS. Just a few of the bigger ones announced were Animal Crossing 3DS, Mario Kart 3DS, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D: The Naked Sample, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS, Paper Mario 3DS, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Pilotwings Resort, Resident Evil: Revelations, Star Fox 64 3D, and the one that will have the hardcore Nintendo fans talking Kid Icarus Uprising.
No release date has been given for the Nintendo 3DS except that it will be released before the end of March 2011. Check out the E3 2010 announcement trailer after the break.
