EA Los Angeles has released a first look trailer at the newly announced Medal of Honor game that is the next installment in the long running franchise.
The new Medal of Honor game was announced earlier this month by EA and is being touted as a modern day reboot of the series. A first look trailer was shown at the recent Video Game Awards and gave us a quick look at the new game. My first thought when I saw the new trailer was that it looked a lot like Modern Warfare 2. I definitely didn’t think this was a bad thing considering how well Modern Warfare 2 is selling. For anybody that doesn’t remember, the Medal of Honor franchise was the game to beat until Infinity Ward came along and took over the top spot. Now the Medal of Honor series has a chance to pay back the favor when it is released next year. From the looks of the new looking trailer, they certainly look like they are bringing their A game and competition is always a good thing. The trailer looks awesome and I’m excited to see more footage from this game in the next couple of months.
The new Medal of Honor game will be released in Fall 2010 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC. Check out the first look trailer after the jump.
