Crytek has released some new Crysis 2 gameplay footage and it looks amazing.
Crytek is looking to make a huge splash in the console market with the upcoming Crysis 2. They were at the recent EA event at E3 2010 and showed off new gameplay footage that looked amazing.
The new Crysis 2 gameplay footage has a very Cloverfield sort of feel to it and seems to fit well with the game’s environment. The new trailer that was released is the same gameplay that was demoed at the recent E3 event. In it we get to see the new Pinger in action stalking you as you try to take it down. The action takes you in out of buildings in this clip of the game as you fight your way to a safe zone. Some vehicle gameplay is also shown as you high-tail out of there before a building collapses down on top of you. Really exciting trailer that highlights the game’s beautiful graphics and action perfectly. Well worth a watch.
Crysis 2 is going to be released this holiday for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC. Check out the new gameplay footage trailer after the break.
