New Alan Wake Game Announced

Remedy officially announces a new Alan Wake game and teases some details.

The original Alan Wake was a big hit with people that played, unfortunately not that many people did that should have. A second Alan Wake game was questionable amid the lower sales, but fans of the original really wanted a sequel. Rumors of a second game surfaced here and there, with some even pointing to an XBLA only release.

Well it looks like those rumors were true. Remedy officially announced a second game was in development and that it will be an XBLA only title and not Alan Wake 2. The first announcement came from Jeff Keighley on Twitter where he teased that the game would be shown off at this year’s VGAs. Remedy followed that up with an official announcement on the Alan Wake Facebook page. They reveal we can expect to see the first screenshot on GameInformer.com this Monday. The announcement is finished off with the message “Are you ready to become the Champion of Light?”
