Sony has confirmed that Netflix will be making its way onto the PS Vita in the US.
Netflix is bringing its movie streaming service to another gaming platform. It has already conquered the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the 3DS. Now it has its sights set on the PS Vita.
The announcement came during Sony’s press conference at CES 2012. The Netflix app will hopefully be available to U.S. customers when the PS Vita is launched on February 22nd. Beyond the announcement, Sony has released no extra details like when other regions would receive the service. We will also have to wait to hear whether the service will be restricted to Wi-Fi or if it will be available on the 3G models. One thing we do know is that the movies should look pretty amazing on that beautiful OLED screen.
