Evolution Studios and Sony announce Motorstorm RC for the PS Vita and PSN with a debut trailer.
The Motorstorm franchise has been a mainstay racing game for the PlayStation 3 and now Sony’s newest handheld, the PS Vita, is going to receive the next installment in the best-selling franchise.
Motorstorm RC is looking all of the fun of a Motorstorm game into the world of RC cars. You can see from the debut trailer that it will feature 16 unique tracks that are going to be varied in environments and obstacles. There is everything from an abandoned warehouse to a tropical island to a skate park. Four of the tracks will be classic environments from previous Motorstorm games. The multiplayer will feature Cross Play so players can compete against each on either the PS Vita or on a PlayStation 3. The PS3 version will feature four player screen action as well as Cross Play that will allow you to keep your game progression across both platforms. The RC cars will come in 8 different flavors to choose from.
A release date hasn’t been announced yet for Motorstorm RC, but it’s expected to be around the launch of the PS Vita in North America next year and will also make its way onto PSN.
