Mortal Kombat PS Vita Announced

Mortal Kombat PS Vita AnnouncedNetherRealmĀ and WB officially announced Mortal Kombat for the PS Vita.

The game that help reinvigorate the Mortal Kombat franchise is making its way to Sony newest handheld, the PS Vita. When the new Mortal Kombat was released last year, it reminded everybody how fun it was to rip someone’s spine out while adding some cool new features like X-Ray that shows a nice x-ray shot of your opponent’s bones breaking.

Originally released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last year, the PS Vita is next in line to receive the new Mortal Kombat. It will include all of the great characters and games modes from the full console game, but will also add some new features. It will also include the PS3 exclusive character, Kratos from the God of War franchise and four previous DLC characters Rain, Skarlet, Kenshi, and Freddy Krueger.

No official release date has been announced yet for Mortal Kombat on PS Vita except for a Spring 2012 window.
