Infinity Ward and Activision can put a new sales record up on their mantle as more sales numbers come in for Modern Warfare 3.
After smashing the first day sales record, Modern Warfare 3
continues its march towards completely owning this holiday season or any other season ever. With day one sales of $400 million, Modern Warfare 3
can now add the record for the highest five day sales record of all time across all media at $775 million. This blows away the previous record set last year by Call of Duty: Black Ops at $650 million and Modern Warfare 2 the year before at $550 million. The unstoppable franchise has topped itself each year and shows no signs of slowing down.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC.
