An iPhone version of Mirror's Edge is currently under development at IronMonkey Studios and will be published by EA Mobile.
IronMonkey Studios is currently working on a new Mirror's Edge game exclusively for the iPhone. In the new game, you again control Faith Connors as she runs and slides across rooftops but this time it will be a side scroller as opposed to the original's first person perspective. It will feature all of the same slides, wall jumps, and zip lines from the original. The game will be 14 levels long and will feature 3D environments. In the gameplay video, Faith can be seen sprinting over rooftops, sliding down walls, and taking down cops. They really seemed to have captured the look and feel of the original and put it into a cool looking side scroller.
The original Mirror's Edge didn't sell very well but received pretty good reviews. A sequel to the original is currently under development but no release has been given.
The iPhone/iPod Touch version of Mirror's Edge should be released this month. Check out the trailer after the break.
