Bioware has officially announced they are currently working on a mobile port of Mass Effect for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
Ars Technica is reporting that BioWare announced the game on their official forums amid leaks pointing toward the game’s development. BioWare had hoped to announce the Mass Effect port on their own terms but apparently a beta tester decided to ignore the non-disclosure agreement they signed.
The iPhone version of Mass Effect is not a bridging story between the first two games but a side story of one of the new characters in Mass Effect 2. No release date info was given with the announcement.
