The huge XBLA hit Limbo is officially making its way to the PlayStation 3 and PC.
Coming off the huge success of Limbo during last year’s Summer of Arcade on Xbox LIVE, developer Playdead will officially be porting the game over to PlayStation 3 and the PC. Limbo was one of the highest selling XBLA titles of 2010 and won several awards and nominations for Game of the Year. Jealous PS3 and PC owners will finally get their hands on this awesome puzzle platformer.
Playdead is also reportedly working on a new IP while porting their cash cow over to PSN and Steam. Hopefully we will hear something soon about their new game too.
No release date or price has been given yet for the Limbo port, but Playdead’s CEO and co-founder Dino Patti says it is coming very soon to PSN and Steam. We should hopefully see the title surface sometime in July.
