LEGO Rock Band has been confirmed today. Back in January we posted a story about a rumored LEGO Rock Band game and today Harmonix and Traveller’s Tales announced they will in fact be releasing the much rumored mash up.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment put out a press release today to officially announce the game. They state that “LEGO Rock Band combines the multiplayer music experience of Rock Band® with the fun, customization and humor of the LEGO videogame franchise” and we couldn’t be more excited. Its two great tastes combined into a sure hit.
They also gave us a couple songs that set to be released with the game. They include “Song 2″ from Blur, “Kung Fu Fighting” by Carl Douglas, “The Final Countdown” by Europe, “Boys and Girls” from Good Charlotte, and “So What” by Pink.
Lego Rock Band is set to be released this holiday for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and Nintendo DS. Check out the screenshots in our LEGO Rock Band gallery.
