Valve has released new gameplay footage of Left 4 Dead 2, showing off the recently announced Dark Carnival level.

The new Left 4 Dead 2 gameplay video highlights the games frantic action perfectly. The original Left 4 Dead had some of the best multiplayer action I've played and the sequel looks to do it one better. The new gameplay video was shown at the recent PAX event and gives us a glimpse at one of the new Infected called the Jockey. The Jockey is able to jump on the Survivors' backs and is able to control their movement. This is demonstrated perfectly in the video by showing the Jockey directing the player away from their teammates. We also get to see the Spitter, an Infected that spits acid on the players. There is also footage of the Charger in action as it rams a player across the screen.

Left 4 Dead 2 is hitting store shelves on November 17th for the Xbox 360 and the PC. Check out the new gameplay footage after the break.
