Cyan has released their port of Myst for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Myst is one of biggest selling games of all time and now it is available on Apple’s handhelds.
For anybody that hasn’t heard of Myst before, it is an adventure game that integrates in full motion video clips to move the story along. Myst’s graphics are tame compared to the games that are released now but back in the day Myst was the top dog. It helped usher in CD-ROMs to the PC market.
Myst was originally a point and click interface but it now takes advantage of the touch interface. Switches are pulled down with a flick of your finger and puzzles and clues are inspected with a finger tap.
Myst for iPhone and iPod Touch will run you $5.99 and will take about 1.5GB of free space. Myst is available now on the iTunes App Store.
