Ubisoft has announced that I Am Alive is still under development with a new debut trailer.
I Am Alive was originally announced way back at E3 2008 as a retail release for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. After the original announcement, I Am Alive’s development went dark amid many rumors it had been canceled all together. Ubisoft has announced that not only it is still being developed, it will be making its way to XBLA and PSN this Winter.
I Am Alive is a post-disaster survival game that pits you against other survivors and your environment while you try to find your wife and daughter. From the debut trailer, that looks to involve a lot of running and traversing toppled buildings while being pushed around by other survivors. The trailer also shows us some of the interesting weapons we will get to employ during the game including a bow and arrow. It still looks pretty interesting and I’m happy to see that it might actually see the light of day so we can check it out.
I Am Alive is going to be released this Winter on XBLA and PSN. Check out the new debut trailer below.
