Halo: Reach Gameplay ViDoc Released

Reach Gameplay ViDoc ReleasedBungie has released a ton of new gameplay footage from Halo: Reach in a ViDoc that was shown at the recent Microsoft X10 event.

We finally get a good helping of Halo: Reach gameplay footage and it is looking really good. The new Halo: Reach ViDoc is really cool in that we get to hear Bungie talk about everything that they want to put into the game and everything they had to do to reach that goal. Bungie shows off every aspect of the game including building the new models, creating the new environments, the musicians working on the game's score, and the biggest part of the video, Halo: Reach's story. It is really cool to hear how many improvements they have made to the game engine and how that will manifest itself on the screen.

The major focus that Bungie wants to highlight is the game's storyline and how they can best convey that to the player. This touches every aspect the game from the character's facial expressions to how they change the look and feel of the Covenant. Any fan of the video game development process should watch this video because it's very interesting to see how the game's they love are created.

No official release date for Halo: Reach had been announced other than this Fall, but we do know it will obviously be exclusive to the Xbox 360. Microsoft announced that the multiplayer beta that was released with Halo 3: ODST will be available on May 3rd.
