Activision has announced they will be releasing Guitar Hero: Van Halen for free with the pre-order of Guitar Hero 5.
Activision announced today that anybody that pre-orders Guitar Hero 5 before its September 1st release will receive a voucher for a free copy of Guitar Hero: Van Halen. Unfortunately this only applies to US buyers though. Not a bad deal if you were looking to pick up either game. The Guitar Hero: Van Halen game will basically be a really nice track pack then if you pick up Guitar Hero 5 and will give you a total of over 130 songs. It states on Activision’s site that it will take up to 6 weeks to receive the free game but that will get you the game before it even comes out.
Guitar Hero 5 will be released for all the major consoles on September 1st. Guitar Hero: Van Halen is going to be released on December 22nd.
