I think few thought there wouldn’t be a third installment in the best selling franchise, but Dragon Age 3 development has been confirmed.
The confirmation that Dragon Age 3 is being worked came via Twitter. Alistair McNally, a Senior Director of Creative Development at BioWare, sent out the tweet. In it, he was asking for exceptional environment artists to join him up in Edmonton, Canada to work on the as-of-yet unannounced Dragon Age 3. No official press release has been sent out yet by BioWare, but I think it is a pretty safe bet that we will be seeing a third game in our future. The full tweet is below:

Look for more info on Dragon Age 3 when we hear it from BioWare in the future. Like Dragon Age 2, I’m sure we can expect it to hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac.
