Blizzard has revealed the Demon Hunter, the fifth and final character class for the upcoming Diablo 3 in a new trailer.
BlizzCon 2010 just wrapped up over the weekend with tons of news for Blizzard’s many best selling franchises. One big announcement was the reveal of the Demon Hunter, which will be the fifth and final character class in Diablo 3. It will join the previously announced Barbarian, Wizard, the Witch Doctor, and the Monk. The big reveal was announced along with a nice cinematic trailer that also gives glimpses of Diablo 3 gameplay.
The new Demon Hunter will use ranged attacks with crossbows, knives, and a Bola Shot that will wrap around an enemy and explode after a delay. It will also be able to use grenades and lay spike traps that should offer quite a few options to take out your enemies. Cool reveal cinematic with some awesome looking gameplay footage at the end that is definitely worth a look.
Diablo 3 still doesn’t have an official release date yet but we do it will be available on PCÂ and Mac OS X. Check out the Demon Hunter reveal trailer after the break.
