Capcom has released the first trailer for their upcoming sequel Dead Rising 2. The trailer shows that game will stay true to the original’s feel which means it should be a great game.
The Dead Rising 2 trailer has the main character, Chuck Greene, slicing and dicing through a screenful of zombies. Chuck gives us a glimpse of some of the new zombie killin’ tools that will be available this time around. We will get to use a Darth Maul style staff with chainsaws on both ends but the coolest addition spotted in the video is a motorcycle with chainsaws strapped to the handlebars. I can’t wait for that.
Capcom also announced that Dead Rising 2 will feature a multiplayer component. There hasn’t been any more information released on that.
Dead Rising 2 is going to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC sometime in early 2010. Check out the trailer after the break.
