We finally received a release date for Dead Rising 2 today at Microsoft’s X10 event in San Francisco as well as some interesting DLC news.
Dead Rising help usher in the current influx of zombie killing games back in 2006 and we are finally getting a true sequel. Capcom announced at Microsoft’s X10 event today that Dead Rising 2 will be released on August 31st in the US. It will be released 2 days later on September 2nd in Japan and the Europe gets it the next day after that. Capcom also announced that they will be releasing an Xbox 360 exclusive DLC called Dead Rising: Case Zero. This new DLC will bridge the gap between the two stories and will be released before Dead Rising 2 hits stores. Not much more is known at this point so check back for more details later.
Dead Rising 2 is going to be released on August 31st for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC.
