Borderlands Game of the Year Edition Announced

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition AnnouncedGearbox Software has announced a Game of the Year edition of Borderlands and it looks like a pretty sweet deal.

Borderlands was a surprise hit from last year and was on a lot of people’s Best RPG of 2009 lists. Gearbox followed up that successful launch with a handful of DLC packs that people raved about. Now Gearbox has announced a Game of the Year edition of the best-selling game and they are stuffing it full of goodies to entice you. In addition to the original game, it will include the 3 released DLC packs: “The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned,” “Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot,” and the “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx” as well as the recently confirmed “Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution.” Lastly it will include a detailed map of the world that should help you out on your missions.

Borderlands GOTY edition will run $59.99 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. There will also be a PC version that will be $49.99 and all 3 versions will be available on October 12th. It looks to be a great deal for anybody that hasn’t picked the game up yet or anybody that was waiting on getting all of the DLC packs.
