IGFun and IndiaGames have released screenshots from their upcoming 2D port of BioShock, the critically acclaimed game originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. BioShock mobile was announced back on February 11th at the Mobile World Congress.

Sean Malatesta, the CEO of IGFun stated that "We’re trying to do great things and BioShock on mobile promises to offer a whole new gaming experience and unmatched excitement amongst mobile gamers the world over. BioShock is a special game in its genre; it brings an element of conflicting morals which has an impact on the storyline, and, among other things, on the difficulty of the game itself."

BioShock mobile follows the same story of Jack in the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions, who crash lands in the ocean and must make his way through the underwater city of Rapture.
