Take-Two Interactive officially announced the release date of BioShock 2 today. It will arrive in North America stores November 3rd.

The highly anticipated sequel to many people's game of the year award is coming back to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC. The announcement came during a conference call by CEO Ben Feder.

BioShock 2 is being developed by 2K Marin and is set ten years after the original game. The game will again take place in Rapture but this time we get to play as a Big Daddy.

BioShock 2 will be released in North America November 3rd but Europe will get the game 4 days earlier on October 30th.
