Battlefield: 1943 is available now on Xbox LIVE Arcade and DICE has released an official launch trailer for the game.
Battlefield: 1943 is basically a multiplayer only update to one of my favorite online shooters of all time, Battlefield: 1942. It offers 4 classic maps Wake Island, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Coral Sea, and it will allow up to 24 players to shoot it out.
For anybody that hasn’t played the original, Battlefield: 1943 incorporates land, sea, and air combat in a perfect mix of mayhem. Battlefield: 1943 is available now for XBLA and will be available on the PlayStation Network tomorrow, both for $15. Check out the trailer after the break.
