Assassin’s Creed 3 Release Date Announced

Ubisoft reveals the release date for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3.

Assassin’s Creed fans got some good news today when Ubisoft officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed 3 will be making its way to consoles this year. The reveal shouldn’t come as a surprise since the franchise has become a juggernaut for Ubisoft with each new installment.

The official announcement came during a financial call with Ubisoft’s CEO Yves Guillemot. He states that Assassin’s Creed 3 will be Ubisoft’s largest release yet by investing more in it than any other release in the best selling franchise. It is expected to surpass Assassin’s Creed: Revelations seven million copies and has been in development for three years. Unfortunately, the announcement didn’t give any insight into the game’s story, who the main characters will be, or even when it will take place. The above logo is a fan mockup, so hopefully we will get more official details soon.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is going to be released on October 30th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
