Assassin's Creed 2 is only a couple of weeks old and Ubisoft has already announced the game's first DLC.

Coming out in January 2010, Assassin's Creed 2's first DLC pack will be called "Battle for Forli". It will be followed up with the next pack in February called "Bonfire of the Vanities" Not much is known other than the name and release windows so far but Ubisoft did say that both packs will weigh in about a 1Gb each so make some room. No pricing has been given out yet either.

Assassin's Creed 2 sold 1.6 million copies worldwide in its first week so it is not surprising that Ubisoft would release some sort of downloadable content for the game. It is a little surprising it will be coming out so quickly but we are not complaining. Check back here to hear more about the DLC packs soon.
