Army of Two: The 40th Day received a new trailer today from Electronic Arts highlighting some of the co-op moves in the upcoming sequel.
The new Army of Two: The 40th Day trailer starts off showing the loadout screen where you get to customize your weapons. We also get to see some split-screen action from the game that shows off the simultaneous sniper shots. We also get to see one the cool co-op moves you can utilize, the step jump and attack. This involves your teammate lifting you up to gain an advantage point and then taking out enemies on higher levels. I think this is what makes the game cool because it does try to add actual co-op scenarios in to the game and taking advantage of having two players. EA Montreal added a cool new move shown in the trailer that allows you to mock surrender to the enemies and then take them out. The original Army of Two had its issues but overall it is was a pretty fun game. I’m hoping for more of the same with some cool additions when this game is released early next year.
Army of Two: The 40th Day is set to be released on January 12, 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Check out the new co-op trailer after the jump.
