New LA Noire Screenshots

Rockstar Games has released some new screenshots from the upcoming L.A. Noire that show off some gruesome crime scenes.
Rockstar Games is riding high on the recent huge success of Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar knows how to make open world games better than anybody else and they have proven it once again with their recent release. They are looking to do it once again with L.A. Noire. The upcoming crime solving sandbox game is obviously based in L.A. but what is really cool is that they've tried to exactly re-create 1940s L.A. The look and feel really comes across in the new screenshots that Rockstar has released. One thing that is very obvious from the screenshots is that we are going to be dealing with some gruesome crime scenes in the game.
L.A. Noire was originally going to be released exclusively for PlayStation 3 but it was revealed that it will also be coming out for Xbox 360. We can hopefully expect to see it released this fall. Check out the new screenshots in our L.A. Noire gallery.
New Call of Duty: Black Ops Screenshots

Treyarch has released some new screenshots from the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops game.
Treyarch recently announced that they are a 100% Call of Duty studio. This is after the announcement of their Call of Duty game was overshadowed by the fallout between Infinity Ward and Activision. Since then we've gotten an awesome debut trailer and now they've released some cool looking screenshots. The different settings from the game show up in the new screens including Vietnam and the Arctic. The visuals look amazing and the debut trailer proves it will bring the action. If it plays as good as it looks this is shaping up to be a fine addition to the Call of Duty franchise.

New Bulletstorm Gameplay Footage

Epic Games shows off new gameplay footage from Bulletstorm, the upcoming over the top first person shooter.
A ton of new gameplay footage of Bulletstorm is shown off in the latest episode of GameTrailers TV. Geoff Keighley interviews Epic's Cliff Bleszinski and they discuss the story behind the game and go more in depth about the game's over the top action. We haven't seen much from the game since its debut trailer was released earlier this month.
The game starts off with the main character Grayson Hunt crash landing into a strange and dangerous planet in a drunken haze. He must then fight his way off the planet against mutants and the planet itself. So far we have seen its huge man eating plants and deadly cactus.
Cliffy B explains his involvement in the development and he states he is like "the fun creative uncle" that gets to come in and guide the team at People Can Fly on making the best game possible. He says that at times Bulletstorm's action makes "Gears of War look tame". That sounds like some pretty big words by Cliffy B. Let's hope it isn't all hype and the action is as fun as it looks in the new gameplay footage.

Lego Harry Potter Year 4 Trailer Released

Traveller's Tales has release another trailer for Lego Harry Potter, this one focusing on year 4 of the game.
Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is coming out next month so we can expect to see the promotional push to start coming on strong. The 4th trailer highlights events from the 4th book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Many key points from the books and movies make an appearance in the trailer and fans of the franchise should love seeing their favorite characters Legofied. The other Lego franchises have been a lot of fun and we should expect nothing less with this release.

Kane & Lynch 2 Cops & Robbers Video Released

IO Interactive has revealed a new multiplayer mode for Kane & Lynch 2 with a new video.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is looking better and better with each new video that is released. In the new video IO Interactive shows up a new multiplayer mode called "Cops & Robbers". The new mode with pit 6 cops against 6 robbers that are tasked with robbing a bank within 4 minutes for 4 million dollars. The cop's job is obviously to stop them. It sounds like an awesome recreation of that memorable scene from Heat. This sounds fairly similar to the recently announced "Fragile Alliance" mode but both offer some cool twists on the usual multiplayer modes out there. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of firefights these modes will spur.

Insomniac Games Is Going Multiplatform

Insomniac Games, the development studio behind some of Sony's biggest hits, is going multiplatform with their next game.
Insomniac Games has been a mainstay in Sony's stable for a long time and has churned out some awesome games for them. They are the studio behind the best selling Ratchet & Clank, Spyro, and Resistance franchises. Unfortunately for Sony, but fortunately for everybody else, they have decided to take their next game to multiple platforms. Working with EA Partners, Insomniac's next hit will be released on Xbox 360 as well as PlayStation 3. No details are known about the game but we do know it is based in a brand new world. This looks to be the route that elite development studios are going with their IP and it makes a lot of sense for them. Major Nelson tweeted that he would like to personally deliver an Xbox 360 dev kit to the team to celebrate the news. To say they must be excited about getting the game on their platform is a huge understatement.
Halo: Reach Release Date Announced

Bungie's last Halo game gets an official release date so the millions of fans of the series can start marking the days off of their calendar.
Halo: Reach is going to be Bungie's last Halo game before they hand off the reins to 343 Industries, Microsoft's internal studio. Halo: Reach is pretty much guaranteed a running in many people's GOTY list and if the recent multiplayer beta is any indication, it is going to sell a boatload of copies too. You would have to be an idiot to not think this release is going to be huge and we now know when that will be. Microsoft officially announced today in a press release that Halo: Reach will be hitting store shelves on September 14th exclusively for the Xbox 360. The recent multiplayer beta pulled in record numbers and come September it is going to set the bar for the whole holiday season.
New Dead Space 2 Screenshots Released

Visceral Games have released some new screenshots from the upcoming sequel Dead Space 2.
Isaac Clarke is coming back 3 years after the first game. This time around he is taking on a space station full of baddies as can be seen in the new set of screenshots that were released by Visceral Games. Dead Space 2 is bringing back the spooky with even freakier looking enemies so I'm sure we can expect to be nice and creeped out when we play the sequel.

Killzone 3 Announced

Killzone 3 was supposed to be officially announced in the next issue of GamePro magazine but Sony has already had their surprise ruined.
Killzone 3's inevitable release was promised back in March by SCEA's CEO and President Jack Tretton but no details were given at that time. Now thanks to a GamePro magazine subscriber, we now know the first official announcement is going to be the July cover story. The leak was from a GameSpot forum user that gives us details on the upcoming game. The biggest surprise, or not if you've kept up on the recent trend, is that Killzone 3 is going to be in 3D. Sony is touting the 3D as being a big "Game Changer". Another big reveal is that the new game will feature jetpacks. They are going to be much more agile than jetpacks that are in other games and they can also be used as a weapon. They will include a machine gun that when used on the Helghast it will make them "explode like roman candles". It will include arctic levels and the melee combat has been improved. There are more details given on the forum post, the scans have been uploaded, or you can always wait until the magazine is released on June 1st.
Killzone 2 was pretty universally liked and Killzone 3 looks to be raising the bar. No release date is known for Killzone 3 but we do know it will be exclusively on PlayStation 3. Expect to hear more at the upcoming E3.
Gears of War 3 Screenshots Leaked

Gears of War 3 was officially announced last month and now we finally get to see some more screenshots from the game.
Gears of War 3's release date is forever away but luckily some screenshots have leaked out into the world. The whole cast of characters show up in the new screenshots including the first playable woman character, Anya, and the now bearded Dom. The first thing you notice though is just how good the visuals look with the new and improved Unreal Engine 3. I'm sure that we will hear more about the game at the upcoming E3 next month.
Gears of War 3 is going to be released exclusively for Xbox 360 on April 5th, 2011. Check out the screenshots in our Gears of War 3 gallery.
