In honor of the DLC's release, Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony.
The second DLC planned exclusively for the Xbox 360, GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony, was released today. To highlight the game's release Rockstar Games has released a new trailer that centers around Luis Lopez. Luis Lopez is Gay Tony's bodyguard and protects the nightclub owner in the new GTA 4 episode. The trailer fills our need for big explosions, car chases, guns, and NSFW language. The new episode looks action packed and will be well worth the 1,600 Microsoft Points. You can download the DLC off of Xbox LIVE right now or pick it up in a retail pack that includes the original DLC episode, The Lost and Damned. The retail pack is a stand alone option so you do not need the full GTA 4 version.
GTA 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony is available now on Xbox LIVE and the retail version, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is available now too. Check out the new GTA 4 trailer after the break.Read more...
Sony announced that it will be including the highly anticipated God Of War 3 demo on the upcoming District 9 Blu-ray disc.
District 9 was one of the huge hits this summer and it just got one more reason to pick up the Blu-ray version when it is released this December. Sony released a press release today stating they will be including the demo of God of War 3. It will be the first hybrid game/movie disc to be released. The disc will also include a digital copy of the film that can be watched on PSP, PC, Mac, or the iPhone/iPod. There will also be a making of the game featurette with the demo. Sony had previously announced they will be including the GoW 3 demo on the upcoming God of War Collection. For those of you who don't want to play through the first two games again but want the demo, this might be a good alternative.
This is what Sony needs to do to get more people interested in Blu-ray. They need to offer more reasons for people to plop down that extra money. Not that many people have a good enough TV to enjoy the full potential of Blu-ray but with deals like this, it should help increase the Blu-ray adoption rate.
The District 9 Blu-ray disc will be released on December 29th and will include the God of War 3 demo. The hybrid disc will cost you $39.99 but with the demo and extras as well as the awesome movie you get, it might be worth picking up.
2K Marin has released a new trailer for BioShock 2, this time showing off Siren Alley, one the game's new environments.
In the last episode of GTTV, we got a glimpse of BioShock 2's Siren Alley and now 2k Marin has released a trailer spotlighting the new environment. Siren Alley is exactly what it sounds like, a Red Light district in Rapture. In the new trailer we get to see the new and improved Big Daddies and the quick and agile Little Sisters. We also get to see some of the new weapons and plasmids that will be available to use in the sequel. The new game looks amazing just like the first BioShock and I'm sure is guaranteed to be a blockbuster. It seems to have the same creepy atmosphere as the original as well. The franchise doesn't seem to have lost any of its appeal with the switch of development teams and I'm really looking forward to playing this next year.
BioShock 2 is going to be released February 9th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC. Check out the new trailer after the break.Read more...

Netflix announced today that they will bringing their instant watch services to the PlayStation 3, ending Microsoft's console exclusivity.
Netflix on the PlayStation 3 has been rumored since the AP ran a story about Netflix's stock soaring after they announced they would be bringing their service to a new site. Today, Netflix announced that the rumors were in fact true and they will be bringing their instant streaming service to the PlayStation 3. It will work a little bit different than how you access the service on the Xbox 360. You will need to order a special Netflix Blu-ray disc that will connect you to the service. You will of course have to be a Netflix subscriber to gain access to the streaming service but you will also be able to take advantage of their mailing service as well. The biggest difference in the PlayStation 3 version is that it is free to use over the PSN as opposed to the Xbox 360 version, where you need to be a Gold member to take advantage.
Netflix is already advertising the service on their site for as little as $8.99 a month. This will get you access to unlimited streaming movies and TV shows to your PS3. There hasn't been an exact release date announced yet but it could be coming as soon as next month.
2K Marin and GTTV show off new gameplay footage from the highly anticipated BioShock 2 sequel and release new details about the game.
BioShock 2 is going to be huge when it is released early next year. In the new episode of GTTV, we get to see more gameplay footage for the upcoming sequel. Jordan Thomas, the Creative Director at 2K Marin, gives new details on the single player story and BioShock 2's multiplayer action are revealed as well. The game will take place 10 years after the events from the original BioShock. The villain this time around is named Sofia Lamb. She is the opposite of Andrew Ryan in that she believes that we all have a duty to the world rather than wanting to get away from society. We take on the role of the first Big Daddy this go around and we are in charge of a Little Sister named Eleanor.
On the multiplayer side, it will take place before the events of the first game, during the war for Rapture. Players will be able to level up their characters with every kill and that will in turn, earn them more plasmids. You will top out at level 40 and 2K Marin says that "something special will happen" when you reach that top level.
BioShock 2's release date is going to be February 9th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC. Check out the new gameplay footage from GTTV after the break.Read more...
Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have released a launch trailer for the upcoming Forza 3 focusing on the great reviews it has received so far.
Forza 3 has been hyped since it was first announced. Does it live up to the hype? It has so far if you look at the early reviews. It is currently at 92% on Metacritic which is obviously very good. The game looks beautiful, there is no denying that. It also has a huge amount of cars and tracks with over 400 cars and 100 tracks. The previous Forza games sold pretty well and the third installment in the franchise looks to outpace the previous ones. Will it be enough the reigning champ, Gran Turismo 5? That remains to be seen until GT5 is released next year. I was a big fan of the first two games and I am looking forward to this one draining a bunch of my free time. Who is going to pick this one up? Or are you going to save your money for Gran Turismo 5? Let us know what you think in the comments.
Forza 3 is being released next Tuesday, October 27th. Check out the launch trailer after the jump.
A new leaked Left 4 Dead 2 Zombie Survival Guide trailer has surfaced and it shows off the brutality the new melee weapons are going to bring.
A Swedish site has posted a leaked Left 4 Dead 2 trailer onto YouTube. The trailer doesn't show us any new game footage but it is jam packed full of cinematic carnage. We get a good look at how brutal the new melee weapons will be when they are used on the undead. We also get to check out all four survivors talking tough and kicking zombie ass. The rumors floating around is that this might be the intro movie to the game. That was my first thought when I saw the leaked trailer. It would make a lot of sense since it looks like each of the campaigns is represented in the trailer as well.
You can pre-order Left 4 Dead 2 now and gain early access to the demo or wait for it to be released on November 17th for Xbox 360 and PC. Check out the leaked L4D2 trailer after the break. It is definitely NSFW though.Read more...
Adrian Askarieh, the producer of the upcoming Kane & Lynch movie, has announced they have cast Bruce Willis in the title role.
The Kane & Lynch movie is being produced by Adrian Askarieh, who previously produced the Hitman movie, and it will be distributed by Lionsgate. Adrian announced during an interview with GameDaily, that Bruce Willis has officially signed on to be a part of the movie. Willis will take on the lead role of Kane. Willis was quoted as saying the script was "one of the best action scripts he'd ever read".
They are just starting with casting for the role of Lynch, but rumors are floating around putting Daniel Day Lewis or Billy Bob Thornton in the role. Both of which would be awesome. Filming will begin in March of next year. Simon Crane is set to director the film.
I think the story line of Kane & Lynch lends itself perfectly to a good movie script. The game was a little buggy, but overall is was a pretty good experience. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this movie. I've always been a fan of Bruce Willis so I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. Of course the casting of Bruce Willis is no guarantee it will be a good movie but it does give the movie a little more legitimacy. What do you guys think? Does Bruce Willis as Kane put this movie on your radar? Who would you like to see in the Lynch role?
