Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Gameplay Video Released

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is showing off some multiplayer action in the new gameplay video released by EA DICE.
The original Battlefield: Bad Company was a pretty cool action game and was pretty well received by critics and players alike. One major factor of the original's success was its multiplayer mode. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 looks to match the original's fun and intense gameplay and add some new elements to improve upon it. The video gives us a quick glimpse at a multiplayer match in the upcoming sequel. The language is a bit NSFW so be careful where you watch the video.

Watchmen DLC Coming To Little Big Planet

Media Molecule has announced they will be bringing Watchmen downloadable content to Little Big Planet.
Little Big Planet will be receiving the Watchmen Costume and Sticker Pack DLC this Thursday on the PS3. Hot on the heels of the recently released Game of the Year Edition, the Watchmen DLC will add a Rorschach, The Silk Spectre II, Nite Owl II and Ozymandias costumes as well as many new stickers. Alongside the announcement, Media Molecule has released a very short teaser trailer of the new content. The trailer shows off the new costumes and an assortment of stickers including a blue Dr. Manhattan. The Rorschach looks to be worth the price of admission alone.
The Watchmen DLC for Little Big Planet will be released this Thursday on the PSN. No price has been given as of yet. Check out the short teaser trailer after the break.Read more...
Leaked God of War Collection Gameplay Footage

Leaked gameplay footage has surfaced from the recently announced God of War Collection.
Sony recently announced they will be bringing the original God of War and God of War 2 to the PlayStation 3 in one collection. Gameplay footage from the God of War Collection has leaked onto the Internet via the Examiner and shows off the facelift the original games are receiving. Unfortunately the leaked video doesn't give us a true representation of the upgraded visuals but you can definitely tell they are improved.
The God of War Collection will be released on the PlayStation 3 this November and will include the God of War 3 demo. Check out the leaked gameplay footage after the break.Read more...
New Splinter Cell: Conviction Trailer and Release Date Revealed

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Conviction at the recent TGS09 and has also given us a new release date for the game.
Splinter Cell: Conviction has hit a few snags along its development path but when the game was shown off at this year's E3, people got really excited again for this franchise. The game had taken on a different look than previously shown off and it looked awesome. The trailer shows off more of how Sam Fisher has changed from earlier games and how brutal he has become. There is a way different feel to this game and is definitely going to bring a spark the franchise. Sam Fisher takes out his enemies in many vicious ways and it is very obvious he is out for revenge.

Dead Rising 2 TGS 09 Trailer Released

Capcom has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel Dead Rising 2 at the recent Tokyo Game Show.
The new Dead Rising 2 trailer gives us a small glimpse at the game's multiplayer action which will take place in a reality TV game show. The game show is called "Terror is Reality" and will pit players against each other to see how many zombies kills they can rack up. It will allow up to four players to compete There are many tools available to each player including the chainsaw motorcycle, antler helmets, and a huge human hamster ball that looks a lot like American Gladiators.
Dead Rising 2 has not received a release date yet but it will be coming out sometime in 2010 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and the PC. Check out the new trailer after the jump.Read more...
New Crackdown 2 Screenshots Released

Microsoft and Ruffian Games have released actual gameplay screenshots from the upcoming Crackdown 2.
Crackdown 2's announcement came back at this year's E3 but since then there has been little news about the highly anticipated sequel. Microsoft and Ruffian Games have released the first gameplay screenshots from the game and they look awesome. Any fans of the original game should be excited about the sequel and anybody that didn't get a chance to play it, should pick it up. The new screenshots show off the familiar green orbs that many people spent countless hours trying to find every last one. The original game was a lot of fun and from these new shots, the sequel will be much more of the same. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

God Of War 3 Demo Coming In November

Sony announced that they will be including a God of War 3 demo with the upcoming God of War Collection.
The God of War Collection will be released this November exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and it just got a lot cooler. Buyers of the collection will get exclusive access to the E3 09 demo of God of War 3. You will receive a voucher when you buy the collection and you will get immediate access to the demo.
The God of War Collection includes the original God of War and God of War 2 redone in HD. It will be available this November and God of War 3 is set for a March 2010 release.
Wii Price Drop Officially Announced

Amidst several rumored leaked ads, Nintendo has finally come out and officially announced a Wii price drop.
Several leaked ads showing a rumored Wii price drop were floating around and Nintendo has come out and officially confirmed it. The price drop will be to the rumored $199.99. This will be the first drop since the console's launch and it will be effective this Sunday September 27th. The Nintendo Wii had dropped in sales in recent months so this makes a lot of sense, especially since Sony and Microsoft had recently dropped the price of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The Nintendo Wii price drop is effective this Sunday September 27th and will include the same retail pack that is available today.
Leaked Documents From Sega Reveal All PS2 Games Coming to PSN

Leaked documents from a alleged meeting between Sony and Sega reveal that all PS2 games could be coming to the PlayStation 3.
Take this story with a huge grain of salt but there are supposed leaked documents of a meeting between Sony and Sega that reveal Sony wants to bring every PS2 game to the PlayStation 3. The alleged meeting took place on August 5th and sheds some light on Sony's possible future plans for all of their platforms. Originally posted on a French site and then thrown up on NeoGaf, the document lays out some really huge plans from Sony. The biggest news from the leaked document shows that Sony wants to bring the whole PS2 catalog to the PSN in the future. Was this the real reason why Sony cut backwards compatibility? It does make a lot of sense but it will also piss off a lot of people if it's true. The document also states that Sony's motion controller will be released in March 2010 in Japan and then Spring for the rest of us. Another huge announcement that a lot of people would be excited for is that Sony hopes to bring original Dreamcast games to the PSN as well as Japanese imports.
As I said before, take this story with a huge grain of salt because any one of these announcements would be huge news, let alone all of them coming true. Uncharted 2 Trophy List Revealed

The full trophy list for Uncharted 2 has been revealed and it looks like the trophy list from the original game.
Uncharted 2 is going to be one of the biggest hits on the PlayStation 3 and now we know all the trophies we get to shoot for while we play it. There are a total of 48 trophies that can be achieved and they are a lot like the original's. Most of the trophies are related to the single player campaign, but there are a few related to online multiplayer games. Just like the original Uncharted game, the sequel will reward you for finding treasure, taking out bad guys in every way possible, and finishing the game on all levels of difficulty.
