Rovio’s smash hit Angry Birds has found another platform that it can dominate, the Nintendo 3DS.
Riding the wave of unheard-of success on all of the major platforms, Rovio has announced it will be releasing Angry Birds on the upcoming 3DS and Nintendo Wii.
The announcement was made on Rovio Mobile’s official Twitter account and was very simple and straight to the point, “Thanks! Wii and 3DS later on in the year.” No word on whether it will take advantage of the 3D in the new DS or not. Angry Birds is available now on iPhone, iPad, Android devices, and even PlayStation 3. It is available as the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and the recently announced Angry Birds Rio which will be released along with the animated film this Summer.
