Alan Wake: American Nightmare Officially Revealed In Debut Trailer

Remedy has officially revealed Alan Wake: American Nightmare with a debut trailer that aired during the recent 2011 VGAs.

Alan Wake was a huge hit and many fans hoped for a follow-up from Remedy. Thankfully they agreed and recently announced a new Alan Wake title was under development and that it would be released exclusively on XBLA.

Before the recent VGAs we only had a brief teaser trailer to tide us over. That all changed during the show when Remedy showed off the debut trailer and fans of the series rejoiced. If you were worried about not getting a full sequel, you should be pretty happy with your first look at the new game.

Alan Wake: American Nightmare is a stand alone game that will be a spin-off of the original. In it, you will face a new enemy named Mr. Scratch who is an evil double of yourself. Mr. Scratch is an evil serial killer that has Alan’s wife in his sights. It will again take place in a dark insane world where light is your best friend.

Alan Wake: American Nightmare is going to be released exclusively for Xbox 360 on XBLA in 2012. Check out the trailer below.
